This work depicts in abstract how we humans are all connected in one way or another. Some connections are strong like with family while others may be more distant like with a movie star or author that we like.
One thing every figure in this painting seems to be doing is watching someone else. Eyes peek from corners, glances bounce from face to face, and curiosity loops around the canvas like a game of visual tag. We learn by watching others, they learn by watching us, and in this whimsical little world, everyone is both the teacher and the student at the very same moment.
