Dilapidated Barn on Old Ledger Paper

This is something I have wanted to try for several years. The painting is on two pages of a farm ledger from the 1930s which my boss in Wichita gave me when his parents who owned the farm past away.

I got the idea from drawings by Native Americans that I saw in a museum when I lived in Oklahoma. They would use paper from old ledgers since they couldn’t afford to buy new paper.
