Car Personal Space in Kansas

Ride-inYears ago when I lived in Tennessee the saying was that if someone had their turn blinker on it must have been on when they bought the car.

Now living inKansas I have noticed a phenomenon I’ll call car personal space.  Not only does the person need 3 to 4 thousand pounds of metal around them.  They also need a car length between them and the car in front.  This is not while moving, this is while sitting still in a line at a drive through.

It translates into 5 cars creating a line around the block.
