As more and more critical applications are centralized on cloud infrastructure, data and processes which were once locate in thousands of places now reside in a few places. Blow those data centers up and the US economy grindes to a halt.
Can we believe that our processes entrusted to Amazon, Microsoft, IBM are truly safe and invulnerable. Not likely.
Is the government creating standards for these utility providers that protect the US economy?
