The Doctor Loop

Ask your doctor?  The one that the drug companies visit and give free samples?  How can I trust that I am getting what is best for me when my doctor may be under the influence…of drug companies?

My doctor gave me a prescription for a cholesterol lowering drug.  I went to the drug store to pick it up, $200.  I refused to pay it.  I went back and asked the doctor to switch to something similar.  5 dollars.
