Facebook

I have, since I joined Facebook, utilized it to share my thoughts but that has become less and less satisfying.  I think the reasons are two fold.  Most of my ‘friends’ on Facebook are fine people but they represent the types of relationships which normally happen for a while such as school, work and so forth.  On Facebook they become unnaturally extended into long term relationships.  I have changed over time.  I started out very religious and politically far right I was in this phase when I met most of my ‘friends’ on FB.  Over the years I have ditched religion as dead weight and now tend to lean left without falling over.  I have noticed that most people do not change so radically over time.  Anyway I don’t agree with 90% of what my Facebook friends post in fact, dirty little secret, I used a Facebook filtering function to hide most of them a long time ago.  I have a hard time unfriending people because it makes me feel like a bad person and also now and then something comes up which really is interesting to some or all of us.

I think most of them have hidden me also.  Its fine.
